Remember those late nights spent glued to your TV, a comforting blanket draped over you, probably with a half-eaten bag of popcorn nearby? Yep, we're talking about Supernatural. For fifteen glorious seasons, Dean and Sam Winchester drove their '67 Impala through countless demon-slaying adventures, faced off against angels and monsters, and, most importantly, showed us the true meaning of family. It’s been a while since the final “The road so far…” montage, right? So, where are our favorite hunter brothers and the amazing cast who brought them to life now? Let’s take a nostalgic, and totally fun, dive into the world of "Where Are They Now?" for the Supernatural crew!
First up, the man, the myth, the legend himself, Jensen Ackles. Our Dean Winchester! Jensen has been busy, folks. You might have caught him flexing those impressive muscles and delivering some serious gravitas as Soldier Boy in the wildly popular, and let's be honest, delightfully unhinged, series The Boys. Seriously, if you haven't seen him in that, you're missing out on a whole new level of villainy (and some killer one-liners). He’s also been dabbling in directing and producing, proving he’s got the creative chops behind the camera too. And, of course, he's still very much connected to the Supernatural universe, even executive producing the prequel series, The Winchesters. Talk about staying in the family business, eh?
And what about our beloved Sam Winchester, played by the incredibly talented Jared Padalecki? He hasn't exactly been slacking off either! Jared jumped right into another leading role, starring in the reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger, now simply titled Walker. He plays Cordell Walker, a modern-day Texas Ranger tackling crime with a whole lot of heart. It’s a different vibe from hunting monsters, sure, but he brings that same dedication and charm to the role. You can see he’s still got that heroic aura, can’t you? Plus, he’s always sharing adorable updates about his family and his adorable dogs on social media. Total sweetheart!
Now, let’s not forget the angel who stole our hearts (and sometimes our souls), Misha Collins! Castiel. Oh, Castiel. Misha has been incredibly active with his nonprofit organization, Random Acts, which encourages acts of kindness around the world. How inspiring is that? He’s a true humanitarian, and it’s wonderful to see him putting his platform to such good use. He’s also popped up in other acting projects, but his passion for making the world a better place is truly his defining characteristic these days. He's basically a real-life angel, isn't he?
What about the iconic queen of sass and survivor, Mark Sheppard, who played Crowley? Oh, our demon king! Mark has been touring with his band, Robert Singer, who, by the way, was a massive executive producer and director on Supernatural, so it’s a bit of a reunion! He’s also continued to grace our screens in various guest roles and voice acting gigs. You can bet he’s still got that signature smirk and wicked sense of humor. He’s a legend, through and through.

And let's give a huge shout-out to Ruth Connell, who brought us the phenomenal Rowena MacLeod! That witchy woman! Ruth has been busy with theater work and various television roles, always bringing her unique blend of theatricality and genuine emotion to everything she does. She’s a powerhouse performer, and we’re all eagerly awaiting her next big project. You just know it’s going to be something spectacular, right?
Remember the ever-loyal, often exasperated, but always there for the boys, Bobby Singer? Played by the legendary Jim Beaver. Jim is a prolific actor and author. He’s appeared in so many films and TV shows since Supernatural wrapped, it’s hard to keep track! He’s a constant presence in the industry, a true veteran, and his distinctive voice and acting style are always a welcome sight. He’s practically a national treasure at this point, wouldn't you agree?

Let’s not forget the amazing women who provided some much-needed grit and wisdom. Genevieve Padalecki (née Cortese), who played Ruby and is Jared’s real-life wife! She’s been focusing on her family and has also been involved in some impressive acting work, including a role in The Winchesters. It's a lovely full-circle moment, isn't it? And then there’s Katie Cassidy, who gave us the fierce and formidable Jo Harvelle. Katie has been a staple in the Arrowverse, playing Laurel Lance/Black Canary in Arrow and other related shows. She’s a superhero in her own right, both on and off-screen!
And who could forget the angelic Gabriel, played by the always entertaining Richard Speight Jr.? He's been busy directing episodes of television, including for shows like The Goldbergs and even for Supernatural itself! He’s also a consistent presence at Supernatural conventions, always bringing his hilarious energy and connecting with the fans. He’s a true embodiment of the joy and community that the show created.

The beauty of following the careers of these incredible actors is that it reminds us that stories don't always end when the final credits roll. They evolve, they transform, and the people who brought those characters to life continue to create new magic. Seeing Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, or Jared Padalecki as a Texas Ranger, or Misha Collins spreading kindness, it’s like getting little bonus episodes in the grand saga of their careers. It shows their versatility, their passion, and their enduring talent. It makes you appreciate the depth of their performances even more when you see them tackle different roles and projects.
The Supernatural cast has gone on to do so many wonderful things. They’ve explored new genres, taken on challenging roles, and continued to entertain us in countless ways. It’s a testament to their dedication and the unique bond they forged during their time on the show. And honestly, it’s just plain fun to see them shine!
So, the next time you find yourself reminiscing about the Winchesters, remember that the talent behind them is still out there, creating, performing, and making their mark. It’s a reminder that no matter how an adventure ends, there are always new paths to explore and new stories waiting to be told. Keep an eye on these incredible individuals – you never know what amazing things they’ll do next. And who knows, maybe by following their journeys, we’ll be inspired to embrace our own adventures and keep chasing our own impalas, metaphorically speaking, of course! Happy hunting… for more incredible content!
